here's the last thing i finished. used prismacolor pencils and markers on red card stock. i thought it turned out pretty neat. i think i'm almost to the point where i could get a few prints made and sell a few things. anyway, enjoy, and let's see what everybody else has been up to!

crap. it looks alot grainier than it really is, but maybe it's just my computer. it turned out alot more smoooooth than it looks on my screen...

heres some fotos of my upright bass that i just finished. i sanded it down down to bare. put a new stain on it and put a satin clear coat over it. i then followed with a stripe around the edges and little scallop at the base of the neck. i also sanded down the fret board a little bit to get better action and put a stain on it to. i was kinda goin' for that bill black(elvis' bass player) look. well heres some pics...

Thanks. Yep. I never heard back from Hot Rod Hell so I convinced him we should just do our own thing from scratch. It snowballed into a more official entity after that. I'm glad too, cause I am really proud of how it turned out.

  23. Yeah Django, sometimes it's a good thing to be forced to throw out your original plan and keep working past it. Nice work.
