1953 Ford Victoria. I'm ready to buy carpet and would like some direct experiential data. If you have had actual direct experience with carpet from any of these sources, please tell me about it: Kanter Classic Auto Parts USA Parts Supply Metro Parts Market Hirsch Also, if you've purchased a carpet set from some other source and are HAPPY with it, please let me know. I am interested only in cut pile carpet, so that eliminates Mac's; LeBaron Bonney doesn't make a set for my car. I considered just buying raw carpet by the yard and making my own, but I have no way to sew the seams or sew in the heel pad. Your responses will be greatly appreciated, either here or by e-mail. If Auto Custom Carpets makes a set for your car, that's the one you want. Used them many times and was always super happy, plus they're cheap. Prepare for a shitstorm to come for not reading the rules or doing an intro before you asked your question.
The problem is that they all seem to come from Auto Custom Carpets- whoever you order from. If anyone has another source I'd like to hear. The ACC carpet - black loop pile for a 64 ranchero- fuzzes out really bad like cheap nylon and already looks worse than the 30 year old carpet it replaced . . . .and is turning pink after one year. It didn't even fit that well and has a big gap at the raer of the cab. I am already thinking about replacing it. . . but why. . . if it's only going to last a year again?
