Traditional is perfectly respectable, but don't be throwing stones at people and claiming they're jumping on a bandwagon, when "traditional" is defined as "...standard, regular, normal, conventional, usual, orthodox, habitual, set, fixed, routine, ritual".
So by definition, traditional means building cars the way they've been built before. I believe there's a whole "bandwagon" of people on this site, that build them that way.
I have my appreciation for that style, but you've got no grounds to imply that I'm a follower. I've built, and am building my share of traditional rides. Followers cave to the pressure you're creating.
As far as 3rd grade level goes, I think calling someone an "Asshat" in response to specific points about their statements, qualifies. Frankly, I expected "Doodiehead', so kudos on a broader vocabulary than your previous posts might have implied.

  3. Dude zip it already#!!
Your making us guys with patina rides look bad.
It is NOT our place to defend our rusty worn down FARMERS TRUCKS in a "TRADITIONAL HOT RODS AND CUSTOMS"forum.
We're driving away the kustom guys and arguing like old women in the process.
Just enjoy your ride, other people's rides and keep it to yourself.
Jeez man how do you get shit done with all that blabber?
Ok time to finish my spiderweb grill with barb wire and rebar.

Hmm, violent and contradictory. Quite a combination.

I like your truck. However, nothing about it is a traditional hot rod or custom. So your rants while passionate don't belong here in the first place based solely on that fact.

Touche "badshifter". didn't even catch that one.
I think my appreciation for traditional rides and their owners, has diminished a bit since being stuck here with the flu.
This has reminded me a lot of being raised Roman-Catholic. Follow the herd or be condemned and stoned by the group. I guess I stumbled into the wrong church.
My different self and my piece of shit truck will be out of your pompadours immediately. I had no idea that this was a closed (minded) group.
Maybe when my truck is "finished", it will be welcome here. Clearly a work in progress isn't allowed, otherwise zman would have shared pics of his 60 IH with us. Oh, the shame of an unfinished project!
    Enjoy your balcony.
