Combustion pressure in radiator on Flathead. Head gasket or something more serious?

With a flattie, you can never rule out a cracked block or head. Not a big job to pull the heads and check.

    Yes.

Need to know more on what you have.

I am making the ***umption that it is not a fresh rebuild; retorquing head bolts can help on a rebuild.

Pull spark plugs. If you find a clean one, pull the head on that side. Hope that it is a head gasket, expect to find a crack from the valve to cylinder bore.
