Preview When Mousing Over Post Title

Probably something that I have done, but when I mouse over the ***le of a post I no longer get a pop up of the first line or so of the post.

Checked all my settings and could not see any reason for this. Went to FordBarn and GarageJournal and it still works there.

Anyone have any ideas on what is wrong and how it can be corrected?

I'm seeing the thread previews currently using Firefox. Are you using a PC or a smartphone app? If a PC, have you tried a different browser or recently updated your main browser? Maybe reset your browser to the default settings?

 

Using a PC, running Windows 10 and Chrome as a Browser, Version 52.0.2743.82 m (latest).

This started with no changes to the system.

Strange that the previews work on FordBarn and GarageJournal.

Tried Firefox and it works OK.

 

It might have something to do with the type and speed of your internet connection. I've had similar random, occasional glitches like this with my DSL service. I don't know for a fact, but I suspect when things are running slowly, or when there is a lot of online demand, some browsers may temporarily disable some of the more superficial features (like showing tool-tips, previews or animations) to keep the rest of the page content loading up a bit quicker.
