These boards were replaced with smooth body colored boards, before the car was completed. Neither board is flawless. The Right board’s rubber cover has 3 damaged areas (shown in photos). The Left board has been modified. The cover isn’t damaged. The board has been narrowed at the front by removing a long tapered section along mounting flange. The metal removed is 3/8” wide (at front of board) tapering off to nothing approximately 8” from the back of the board. This modification is hidden by the car body, once the board is installed. Depending upon your car’s frame contour, shims may be required at the mounting bolt locations. I’m including photos of the above described areas.
