We're gonna do it again, this is the third year for the Prewar Pileup on Route 66 in Catoosa, OK. We've had fun the last two years doing this car show. We've got some great registrations for this years event! Pre-1945 Cars, with a traditional theme is what we're going for. We've had some strict rules for the cars, but we lightened up some for our friends with sbc engines and auto transmissions. Man, same day as the Midway Drags. I don’t have anything done that would fit the event yet, but seems it is always tough to find a weekend without conflicts.
Just gotta decide which one you want to go to! If you go to the drags, enjoy it!! I know the guys putting that one on and they hate that they are missing our show, and we hate to miss theirs also!
Well, since I entered the drags, I guess I better try to make that one. And, I know both of you guys, so…there is that.
Gonna be one heck of a year for the show! Been watching the registered cars pop up on the Instagram page and it looks like one heck of a showing will be had.
Gotta make that show someday, looks to be right up my alley...... always liked the weathered & worn look of the vintage hot rods as they seem to have a story to tell even if some may well be a modern-day rendition with gathered parts reassembled in hot rod form..........After all they each began that way back in the day !!!
