  1. At this moment 100 year old race cars starting, 27 entrants

  2. For most of you just waking up on a Sunday morning the race for the pre 1918 cars ended in a drama. The 1905 Darracq 200HP  car flipped after hitting the grass edge right in front of the grandstand and finish line. Driver was thrown into the tire wall and not injured . This racecar held the world speed record with 122 mph  in 1906 at Daytona Beach . Winner of the race was a 1910 Sunbeam Indianapolis racer with a top speed of 74 mph. There is more of the Darracq on youtube.
