Hey y'all! I've been looking to sell my Model A for some time now but have no clue where to start. So any help with price gauging this thing would be a real help. Here's some info on the car, chopped roof, matching vins on frame and motor, 12 volt partial rebuild, 50000+ miles (most likely false), missing some parts. Like I said any help price gauging this thing would be a huge help.

Start at what you have into it and negotiate a price. As others are going to tell you, because you have money in it doesn't mean that you'll get it back.

A lot depends on where you are. Here the economy has driven the market down especially on non running vehicles. Again, depends on where you are but here for that Id say you could ask 11 and expect to get 9500 ***uming ***le is clean and thats a pretty loose estimate based on 3 pics and a paragraph

I'm going to go with about $8000 if you throw in the chainsaw with it.

Keep it, enjoy it, enjoy life and let the estate worry about getting rid of everything when the time comes.

People ask me all the time what something I own is worth. I just tell them, don't know, don't care, it isn't for sale so i don't need to know figures.

Only 15, I didn't know that. Yes, don't get antsy to sell it even if a female gets involved. Do what you can to keep it. 20 or 30 years you might wish you had it back. So many regret selling cars to early in life just to please someone else or need $'s for this or that. hard to get them back once they are gone.

  10. Info is a little slim- does it run and drive, or when was the last time it did - does it come with fenders- is the paperwork in order- tire size and condition. Around here low end would likely be 3500, and high end would be 8000, with some work maybe a bit more. Throw it in a reputable online auction, it will sort itself out.

Don't necessarily believe the profile. Some funny ages get put there sometimes.

I moved this to the what is it worth forum where it belongs. we are going to need far better pictures and description in order to make a decent guess at value. and when you post more pics please select "full image" so we don't have those tiny pics. also go back and fill out your profile and include your location. where you are has a lot to do with value too.
