Of course you might want to ask Jenny how she feels about it, its her show.

At Billetproof projects are only allowed with prior approval.

The real question is...can you bring a finished car to a show called "primer nationals"?

Knowing the anti-trailered car stance Billetproof had I e-mailed the organization and told them my situation. Alan wrote me back and said it was okay if I parked the trailer outside the show and pushed it in. I printed that e-mail off and brought it with me. Good thing, in the registration line one of the Pecker Heads (car club) said "Where you think you're going with that?" I handed him the e-mail and he changed his tune and showed me where I could park.

Yeah it ****ed pushing the car in but nobody gave my any **** and I was glad the car was there. I don't know if it was the fact that I wanted to be there badly enough that I pushed it with my girlfriend driving for quite a ways just to be there. A few guys even came and helped push when we made it through the gates. Likewise when it was time to go, several people helped push it out and load it up. It might be different if you just showed up in the middle of the show and dropped it off though.

when i was 18, i towed my unfinished vicky to a show...behind dads 35 roadster ute... it was in bare metal and all metal finished, we had the chop done and the roof filled and it was all mocked up rolling on shop tires. brought it down to the old fun in the sun run and it was a huge hit!

point is hot rods you build with your dad may only happen once... no one on here would ever say to their dad, who may be still around or not..." no dad lets not tow or the rod down, its not running and i dont want to get made fun of...

wich one of you would not jump at the chance to take your delorian back in time and build a rod with your dad and bring it to a show...

i almost gave up on hot rodding during the build of my vicky, but it was getting the chance to take my car finished or not to a show with pops that made me stick it out... whe should be encouraging any new young hot rodders to show off their project.

cant wait to see your rod!

There is a show this weekend in my area called the UNFINISHED NATIONALS, where non-running/driving, primered cars are encouraged.....it's cool to see the progress of the cars each year.....

Hell, a car needn't run to make TRJ.........;) :D

And I bet they have made Vanessa a fan for life. Its the little things that go a LONG way.

She will be MORE motivated to finish it being let into the show, than being turned away. What show do you think she is going to want to take it to when it is done? Primer Nats.

No one wants to see any car show turn into piles of unfinished/non-running cars, but every now and then a special case comes along, and its the right thing to do.

See ya at the show, you and Vanessa stop by the Billetproof booth, I'll have a little something for her car.

Did anyone laugh at Brizio for trailering the SAM BARRIS Merc to PASO
No you all raved about that car, who gives a **** how it gets there its NOT YOUR CAR!!! if it bothers you walk away and don't look at it!!!! D'Agostino, Dore, Zocchi and all the top builders trailer their cars to the shows and we still look at them and post pictures of them!!! This thread has nothing to do with traditional Hotrod's and Kustoms!!!! Lets go to the show and have fun!!!!!

Hey I want to see work in process cars...In fact sometimes more than finished cars. I want to learn as much as I can when I hit a show.

I like the Pebble Beach way, trailer if you want, but you must drive across the podium for an award.

Should be a section for under-construction automobiles, anyway. I like to see how it is being done, before it is finished.

    Wish I had a trailer...

I know Rick and Van personally, and have seen the car..very cool little ride...Now, for me, I love looking at in the works stuff...there usually details you won't see when its finished..AND you can see how "well" its being built. Plus I love looking at bare metal, etc...
