.okey ..its time to admit, realize, accept (naahh maybe not) that I'm no longer living in Phoenix Arizona life's a ***** Been a while now, since I moved back to Sweden, with my Swedish wife Jenny, the cars a '53 moredoor Bel Air and a '59 Biscayne 2 dr post, both seen here at the HAMB. Still have a Model A coupe parked in Phoenix. After 3,5 years in Phoenix you miss the friends you've made and also the awsome lifestyle, weather, cars and everything so it was a sad day when we had to leave the country. We couldn't stay because my work permit expired and we choose to leave of our own free will, so I guess that' s our own choice then .. Back in Sweden we bought ourselves a small "farm" with a house built in 1903 and lots of storage place for cars and stuff and with a huge barn built as a "garage".. I've never had one as nice as this one before .so that's the good stuff. Since moving to Sweden, Jenny and I had a son October 29 2004 which makes him 9 months old today, July 29 hhmmm which reminds me how time flyes oh well. His name is Elliot Erik Phoenix last name Melin ! The HAMB is a great place lots of experienced guys and girls here, great tech stuff, all the pictures + that I get to stay in contact with all the friends I made in Phoenix .none mentioned .none forgotten .skål-----cheers to you all, you really gave me a great time in phx . Okey I won't take up more of your time more about the cars, other projects and stuff some other time now I'm off to Old Style Weekend ! Thanks and Viv' la' HAMB ! / primerkid alias Sven
Well, somebody should at least say hi. Hi. Looking forward to pictures of Swedish hot rods-any Hemi-Volvos? Congratulations on your new son.
Hi ya Sven! I hope you are doing well, it sounds like you are. Did you make it to the A-Bombers gig? I'm doing pretty well myself, I just bought another car. It's a '32 Ford Model B (4cyl) 2 Door Sedan. Except for the addition of '48 Ford brakes, the car is an all original, nice running, nice driving car. Basically it's an un-molested, low milage Duece. I really scored getting this one. I plan to keep it looking pretty much like it does now (patina'd black laquer paint, original mohair interior, etc.), but set on a nice rake, change over to an 8BA flathead V8 and a '39 top loader ******. Your Model A is safe and sound. The new heartbeat graffics, Colorado Custom wheels and lime green neon kit really set the car off . We finally had a batch of Rattlers plaques made and I'll be sending them over to you and Lars sometine soon. Sorry for the dealay on that. Well, we all miss you out here in Phoenix. I hope you can come on back for a visit sometime soon. I hope to head out there for the A-Bombers sometime soon, maybe next year, hmmmm... Addios amigo, Mike Ain't no life like the hi-life!
