Printing threads with attached photos?

I notice that switching to the "show printable version" under thread tools hides the attachments. Images put in with HTML code seem to show up, but attached ones do not. PITA for Tech-o-matic posts.

Is there something I'm missing here? What's the best way to print hard copies of the cool tech posts for my garage binder?
