I wanted to introduce myself even though I don't really have a traditional rod or custom. I used to do restoration work with a friend, but gave that up after I did 4 years in the Air Force. I got into road racing with a local sports car club, but it's too expensive to keep up. I'm now building a '66 Barracuda for Bonneville. I live in SW Washington about 35 miles from Portland, Oregon and pay the bills working in telecommunications. Here's a picture of my Valiant. It has some mild mods to the stock 225, brake upgrades, suspension tweaks and a significant wheel/tire package. The car has a better grip on the road than I do on the seat. The Barracuda build you can see of Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=188646481389
I like your 67. I'm a big fan of 67-69 Valiants. I like all A-bodies. I bought a really nice blue on blue 68 from Memory Lane about 8 years ago. It was a super clean, A/C, slant 6 car that I stuck a warmed over 273 in and BBP disc brakes from a Cordoba and an A-body 8 1/4. It turned out really cool. It was my wife's car and she drove it daily up and down the 405. I sold it to fund my model A project and kinda regreted it. I currently live 3 hours south of Portland and I now have a 69 Signant I'll put together soon. I need finish my 45 Dodge pu first. It's almost there. Do you ever go to the Woodburn Mopar drags?
