Hello I've a problem with my carburetor on my six sylinder ford customline.
I've a "leak" of gasoline which results from a small hole. Here is the photo of this hole : (the red sign)

The engine stop when I start. Like a gasoline problem.
The hole is standard on the carburator ? or can I block the hole ?

Excuse my bad english, I hope that you anderstand...

    Thanks !

Your English is just fine !
I had the same thing happen to me back in the 1970's . I just soldered mine up and never had a problem .
    Good Luck !

I have the same carb on my 53 six cylinder. The car runs great! My problem is that when it sits a few days all the gas has run out and then it takes a lot of cranking to get gas back in the carb. I'm going to check for the same leak.

its also caused by the diaphram in the carburator...I had the same issue but after the rebuilt it was fine.
