Problem with 60's Water Slide Decals

    Thanks for all the input guys, I've tried the pva idea this morning and will let you know how it worked out later when it's dry.

    Just to let you guys know the PVA idea worked well, I also had some small water slides that were too small for on the body so thought i would give them a try on my radiator panel, they went on fine and after drying are stuck fast with no bubbles etc etc.
    I can only deduce from this that yes they stick fine to a primered surface and the water slide that i had trouble with must of just been old.

    Langy, For future reference the decals you put on your radiator panel are all reproductions.
    The Fontana artwork is/was mine. The laminated color photo copy guy in Florida stole it initially and from there is was all down hill, became impossible for me to protect as I didn't have a vault of money to feed the lawyers.

    Hi Ken yes i knew they were repros, I got them as a try out off a guy on ebay must be the same guy i guess, for my mind they are way too small and look lost on a car,
    Sorry to hear you got ripped off, It happens a lot here in england too.
