I am installing a CPP/speedway motors disc brake conversion on the front of my 50 F1. I installed all spacers and races according to the instructions and am running ito a problem. When I install the rotor onto the spindle. the outer bearing bottoms out on the spindle before itis seated in the race. I have about 1/8th of an inch movement. I have called speedway and they are supposed to get back with me. Has anyone else ran into this?

  2. I used that on my 49 F-1 with no issues. Is it doing it on both spindles or just one side? It could be a burr on the spindle stopping the bearing from seating. Is it possible you have been given a wrong bearing. The CPP kit I used has the f-100 rotor using the f-100 inner bearing and race and 68 chevelle outer bearing and race

Does the outer bearing fit flush inside the hub?
Can you fit it when it is not on the car or on the spindle ?
Is a gentle tap situation ?
    Maybe the incorrect bearing
If you've gone from drums to discs the bearing sizes are smaller...I'm sure you know that ..
