my Billetproof photo thread will only have 4 pictures this year. when I go to upload pics I get this:

    Capture.JPG

... I choose a file and it comes up for every photo. this will take way too long to post.

Are you uploading from a smart phone? When I click "UPLOAD A FILE" from my desktop I don't see a dialog like you're showing above. It just goes directly to Windows Explorer so I can navigate to the folder with the images I want.

Are your pictures less than 1200 pixels wide and 1200 pixels high?

I'm "old school" I have a desktop computer and my phone is bolted to the wall and does not take pictures. I usually resize to 1000 wide for the HAMB

Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies? I have solved some strange problems by just doing that.

That's just a tad peculiar. I just scrolled down this page to the reply window and clicked where it says "UPLOAD A FILE" and I don't get anything on my screen that looks like what you posted. I'm using Win7 with Firefox. What OS and browser are you using? I might have to try Internet Explorer and see how it acts.

Nope... I'm using Internet Explorer now and getting the same results. Make sure that you're images are in fact jpegs. Look at the image file names and make sure that each name ends with ".jpg". I've seen instances where sometimes editing software will leave off the file extension (file type name). Then when you upload or try to open the file the computer doesn't know how to handle it.

well I guess I fixed it with a "system restore". I couldn't watch Fox News videos either.

Woo-hoo! I hadn't thought about trying a system restore. Had you done any major updates or install new software right before the problem started?

I almost forgot about those old bikes using that double-spaced chain and sprockets.

I don't know what happened. must have clicked on something the wrong way. as for the bike, my buddy just picked one up, 1936 Schwinn, the same frame as this one, though his is a "rat bike" and pretty rusty. I saved a bunch of pics to show him, this was the coolest.
