Is there anyone offering a 24" profile gauge ? The longest I have been able to find with a internet search is the 15" from eastwood. I'm trying to build a 30 roadster body from bits and pieces from about 15 different cars and splicing several pieces together to make a panel would be easier with a profile gauge as I have access to some complete panels.

I bought a set of profile gauges from Eastwood a few years ago. They have magnets on each end and can be hooked together for larger projects, such as what you want to do. Stu

If you are looking for something adjustable, no. But you could make gages with whatever profile that you need; which could be made out of wood, plastic or metal.

I use my profile gauge a lot ,15" inches but sometimes you need more length.I cut cardboard to copy long curved panels to make same as other side.

two words for you...Body sweeps. Fay Butler sells them.

  6. If you want to go over 15", you'll probably need to use a curve template...little more work, but you can get them over 100". They won't help with small details, though.
