I ,too, think folks should fill out some of their profile page…..somewhat! I like to kinda know a little about folks that post here. Like what state they live in, still working or retired and what they worked at while working and their background in it. This is enough info to kinda understand “ who” is talking. Just basic info. However I believe you should never revile your correct birthday, exact address or complete name or phone number. This info is not necessary to get a handle on who is posting! Basic information is all that's needed. Country/state and city if you feel safe enough to reveal that. Other useful stuff would be involvement in the hobby (how long, hands on or not) and cars you have or are working on. None of this is hard, but sometimes when a person walks through the door and starts asking questions - especially if open ended or with attitude - I like to check who they are. Usually there is no information or worse, no access allowed. WTF? You're asking for help man! It's just manners.
