    Hell yes Im stoked. Its looking great and looks like he will have all major stuff done by friday, and thats a good thing cause Im out of money. There is alot of this I could have done Myself,But not the hammer and dolly work. Im just glad I have a understanding Wife cause this has boosted this project forward time wise by about 2 years.....JOHN

    Hi John.......I was going to Bed 1 1/2 hrs ago.....but after opening your Thread I found I just could'nt stop until I read everything & enlarged all Pics......Mate congratulations on realising your Dream with the help of your Metal Guy...Gee! he does good Work too BTW........you've nailed it with the stance & hope you become Financial pretty soon, so we can once again watch more progress of your Dream coming to Life. :cool:;)

    Today He finished up the left side, Finished modifying firewall so body is held out slightly from frame. And started on rear subrail extentions, to support the tail end. Thats about it here are the pics. On a side note tommorrow 1/15/09 is four years to the day that Ive owned this project.....JOHN

  18. I'm going to jump the gun by 2 hours on the anniversary milestone. Congrats. That coupe couldn't have fallen into better hands. I guess the sandblasting was put on hold?

    Thanks Jason without you I wouldnt even had the chance to save Her..
    Couldnt find anybody to blast it with the wood in it. Metal guy didnt want it out till it was straightend out structerally, And by then most of the paint is now gone....JOhn

    Hey John are you going to get it soda blasted after the metal work is done and you take out the wood or just take it to bare metal by hand

    Ok on the final days decided it best to have him repair the rust on inner structure of the trunklid. Pics will show how it looked after blasting. Then removel of structure,found inside of skin pitted so he built it new too. Tommorrow we can see finished work here are the pieces for now....JOHN

    You all have to see this metal guy work on a very small homemade stool and the floor.....and that is a bout it!!
