Maybe not a big deal to most, but I'm kinda stoked - finally got the minibike rolling chassis together. Had to do some fabrication to get the spoked wheel to mount in the original forks and to mount the chrome bike bars where the bent tube originals were, but it finally came together - actually sits better than I expected.

Can't wait for the Round Up! [IMG]

Lookin' good Blake! Forget that cheesy B&S motor and go for a Kohler V-twin. [IMG] You gonna be ready for paint next weekend?

now how are you going to fit your freaky articulated bike and a mini-bike into your trunk for nostalgia drags? [IMG] looks like alot of fun!

  6. I've got a good Kohler 10 horse motor on one of those big ass front throw mowers that would be just PERFECT for your bike... unless you arent building a "death bike" for yourself. I wouldnt any kids to get hurt... Cool bike..

I think you should make it pivot in the center like the swing bike and put a 5 HP on it and sit back watch everyone give it a go. Of course make sure you get it on video.

Yeah, it's become abundantly clear that the next car project needs to be a truck for haulin' all this crap around. The little 5hp does the trick for now, and this one will only go in one direction at a time - I can't imagine a FAT HACK-style motorized Swing bike!

I'm gonna start shopping for paint this week - looking for a good aerosol metallic yellow or orange.

Damn, JASON - let me up! [IMG]

Does Schwinn still put their base coat - color coat candies in rattle cans like they did in the 60s?
