Yes, the body is back on the frame. It is one of those stand back and let's see what it looks like now. Looks a little goofy with out the front axle, promise the next update will have the front end together.
A little tight under the hood but the Caddy fits, Barely fits, got maybe 3/8" room up front and 1/2" between the VC and firewall.
That's gotta be one of the baddest 3 windows ever Jim!!! I love everything about it especially the motor!!!
Stance is good, the rear tires are too short. A taller tire would really help out...a LOT. By the way I have a 6x2 edelbrock intake and carbs I'm gona be selling, p.m. me if your interested. FLIP
Stance is just right! Those tires are right in the sweet spot of the wheel well. Looking great. ~JoJo~
I think the rear stance is perfect as is, but if you do go with a taller tire you'll probably end up raising the rear suspension an inch or so to keep the tire below the fender reveal...and that Caddy motor is a perfect fit...great looking chop and proportions with the stance, I can't wait to see the frontend and aprons on it...good job so far man...
Thanks guys, but I cannot take credit for the chop. It was done when I got the car. It was done many many years ago. It was done well and finished in lead.
The rear isn't too low, the front is too high. Once you get the front end together you will probably find it just about perfect, then you can adjust for the perfect stance.
I see that someone has offered a 6X2 setup to you. That would be awesome but IMO the early Caddys always looked best with dual quads or the factory tri-power. Either way I think it definitely needs some multiple carburation. Frank
Believe me It isn't going to stay this way. Trip are coming. Not to sure on the rest of the dress up yet maybe some chrome or maybe some Hildebrandt gear.
