how the hell you gonna get that whole thing down to the shop in that ugly box you drive? and who will help you weld it up? looks good amigo!
jeem, from memory the C E axle has nicer deuce type ends between the kingpin and perchpin. but i think 36-3window could tell you in more detail. Al.
C.E is a forged axle and thicker and heavier than the Magnum especially between the wishbone bosses also has the duece style ends between the kingpin and the perchpin. C.E link http://www.ch***isengineeringinc.com/page56.html
Those wheels look like the front wheels on the Stone-Woods-Cook,Willys. Always been one of my favorite wheels. Good choice.
Yep, she was at the Goodguys show with it. They added door seals and re-installed the door gl***, carpet etc. Guess they're going to leave it in primer for a while. She is still stoked, but I heard that she has since tooled around with a friend of her's in a new Lexus or something..... I think Dad doesn't really care either way, 'cause he really likes the truck, so does Mom for that matter. Whatever, it's in a better place now, haha! Bostonmike, GreggAZ, I think we can MIG weld the frame **** here at the house, I'll bring just the rear axle down sometime to TIG the brackets on for good (what'll that cost me?).
Just working at getting everything in regards to the frame in place and welded. I'm building some motor mounts that look really cool (never see 'em though!) with help from All Ways Hot Rods (thanks for the use of the welder, uh, I mean Greggski), I'll get some pics SOON. The project definitely isn't dead, just smells that way...
