Been working this week on channelling the A. I beleive when done it will have about a 5 inch channel. Nothing is welded solid yet.

I tacked everthing up and dropped the body down today to check the fit.I will be running about a 1 inch bigger tire in the rear and the car will probably get a mild chop.

Looks great man! I may need to enlist your help on channeling my body over the frame.

Jeez I have a lot to do before I can get where you are with your coupe!!

Good seeing you on Saturday! Good looking wheels you got there! [IMG]

The wheels went on as soon as I got home. I'll be on the look for 4 finger gloves for you for next winter.

That was all Mark X's fault. [IMG]

From my perspective, the car would look better with just the channel. I like the top highth in relation to your channel job just fine as it is.

I agree, it has that sinister look as it sets.
Looks like an "Old School" car.

More channel, no chop, then you can look like my truck.

    Looking good.

I don't think you are going to make the Roundup in it though.

Don't listen to these guys...if you don't chop it 3-4" I'm going to come over and cut it for you.

Well, at least cut it to where you can't turn back...I shave door handles the same way...ask Mark X. [IMG]

(Note: I'm going to come do the other side before you paint it, Mark...I promise) [IMG]

    Dude,

That's looking good. Let me know when and if you're gonna chop it. I'll drop by and lend a hand. Do you reckon you'll be on the road for the drags?

Levi, only pic. I have of the front rails is already posted. Nothing on the inside done yet to see.

34Fordtk,The original siderails are there. I welded some angled steel to them that sits on the frame. I have those tacked together with some 1X1 sqare tube on top of them.

In these pictures there is a piece of 1X1 under the angle iron as a spacer because I planned on running the square tubing there and not on top as it is tacked right now.

If I go with the 1X1 on top the car will be channelled down another inch. I may go this way if I dont chop it.

I've set in it and I'm already worried about head room, and that was sitting on a flat piece of wood.

If it gets chopped it will be subtle. 2 maybe 3 inches at the most.I don't like them too hammered down unless they are sitting really low.

At the height mine will ride it's gonna look better with a small chop or no chop.Decisions decisions. What fun.

One more pic of the doorway. This is all that is done at this time on the inside.
