Progress pics - rocker panel and floor

    Got some progress done on the passenger side rocker panel and floor on my 51 Chevy.

    This is what I started with; rust, bondo, and A LOT of old lead.

    That's a bit worse than my car. All I need is some tools...and skill...and a shop.

    Machinos,

    Well im not so sure that I have the skill [​IMG] .

    This is the first time I have done anything like this before, I had help and I learned a lot!

    Now I just have to get the other side done [​IMG] .

    There was a lot of old lead towards the rear of the new rocker. I had to do a lot of grinding to get down to good metal so we could weld to it. I will have to clean it up later.

    Anyway, it is a helluva lot better that it was!
