    Last two weekends I chopped what body panels I have and tacked them together using the templates I made at ModelAcoupe's.

    Saturday I set it on the frame.

    I know I still have a long way to go. (won't make it to Road Agent's this year...)

    [IMG]

    Many thanks go out to the HAMBers that I sourced parts from:

    fat***buick= grill shell
    UnklIan= p***enger side B pillar
    grimlock= dash rail and p*** side A pillar
    Slazzen= perfect doors chopped 4" back in the day
    ratrodder= running gear
    Ryan= inspiration

    [IMG]

    Plus the p*** side I got from eGay for 100 bucks.

    [IMG]

    Rear needs a few patch panels...

    [IMG]

    Lots more to do but it sure is cool to look at.

    At least for me.

    Dude...that is unbelievable. You need to re-post your first "project" pic for inspiration to people who claim it's impossible to build a hot rod on a budget.

    I think your gonna make it.
    It helps that no other car could take its place. It isn't JUST a model A...its THE Model A! It just doesn't get any cooler than that!

    Just wondering what the frame is from? Looks thicker than a model A to these tired eyes! [IMG]

    The frame is from a AA. It was hacked off to make a doodlebug/tractor.

    The big AA truck huh?
    Man! The taper is excellent!
    Looks tough and kinda like a Deuce frame but with none of the flat floor/curved frame issues.
    I'm surprised you don't see more of them used!
    Good choice! [IMG]
    Ya know...
    I wanna see THIS car done more than any other on the HAMB!
    Keep up the fight.
