Last two weekends I chopped what body panels I have and tacked them together using the templates I made at ModelAcoupe's. Saturday I set it on the frame. I know I still have a long way to go. (won't make it to Road Agent's this year...) Many thanks go out to the HAMBers that I sourced parts from: fat***buick= grill shell UnklIan= p***enger side B pillar grimlock= dash rail and p*** side A pillar Slazzen= perfect doors chopped 4" back in the day ratrodder= running gear Ryan= inspiration Plus the p*** side I got from eGay for 100 bucks. Rear needs a few patch panels... Lots more to do but it sure is cool to look at. At least for me.
Whoooa....!!! Got a lot done since the "Clam Jam". I usually try and catch a peek as I fly by your house, but it's kinda tuff to see anything doing 70!!! Looks great.. CT.
Dude...that is unbelievable. You need to re-post your first "project" pic for inspiration to people who claim it's impossible to build a hot rod on a budget.
Jay i can't beleive it. It looks like you have a car now. You most have found some spear time and used it out in the garage. Looking good. Keep up the great work. Jerry
I will never ever say a car is too far gone to save.I love seeing the progress. What an insperation.......
Hey Elrod...just send your A body to this guy, There's hope after all!! Thats cool...I probably wouldn't have been able to make anything out of what you did. Nice work.
Dude, You are a total RULER. I can't believe you got so much done in such a short time. You are my HERO. BTW, I changed my name legally. modelAcoupe is dead.
Cool mockup nosurf! She's a DANDY! The chop is awesome! Keep at it and you'll get there for sure! Regards, Dave.

[ QUOTE ] another one resurrected from the dead...If only that body was able to speak. [/ QUOTE ]...it would say "OW"!
I think your gonna make it. It helps that no other car could take its place. It isn't JUST a model A...its THE Model A! It just doesn't get any cooler than that! Just wondering what the frame is from? Looks thicker than a model A to these tired eyes! Bill
The big AA truck huh? Man! The taper is excellent! Looks tough and kinda like a Deuce frame but with none of the flat floor/curved frame issues. I'm surprised you don't see more of them used! Good choice! Ya know... I wanna see THIS car done more than any other on the HAMB! Keep up the fight. Bill
It amazing what some can do with what other poeple think is nothing. Great progress and keep up the great work.
Dude, Ya better rattle can that forsale sign before one of us old farts try and snap that up. Budget built, that's they way to go.
hey jay.....if all this isn't enough INSPIRATION and MOTIVATION, i don't know what is! keep at it man, can't wait till we're cruisin to the rumble together! we want you right out front, turnin heads, which is where that thing belongs! everyone will be drooling when you pull in the rumble with that, see you saturday... later, mike
