  2. That's looking nice. I never thought about one of those as a taildragger. What drivetrain are you running?

How much did you take out of the top? More pictures? I'm curious to see how you handled the rear window.

    Nice ride man.

What kind of instrument cluster are you gonna use? I have a complete instrument cluster and a radio from a 1950 Chrysler I used to own.

Shoot me a pm if yer interested.

  11. That's a great job on the chop. I've got a '50 Plymouth as well, don't see too many of them around...

That looks so much better chopped!. I've always liked those Plymouths, especially the 1950 . They have a nice simple ,pleasing design. I always liked those fastbacks, but I have a club coupe
(tudor sedan) which I like equally well. It's waiting to become a future project.

Nice work on yours, keep us posted. I like the tire/wheel choice too.

Great job on the chop, it's not an easy one. I really like the conservative chop, it slicks the car down just enough. It should be a great cruiser with plenty of head room.

From the looks of the work on the trunklid, this chop is really done right. This would be an easy one to fuck up. Well done.

What are the rest of the plans for the car?

Thanks for all the comments. As far as plans, I have so much more stuff i plan on doing to it, all post more pictures of it as i go. And yeah i can see how fucking up on this one would be easy, cause at one point i thought it was fucked, but figured out the problem. started this car i belive like the begining of febuary, sounds like a while but dont realy want to rush into anything and screw something up.

Looks great, trunk lid looks really good also. You put alot of thought into the back of the car and it shows. Heres mine I took 3 in out of it also.

Hot Damn, 3-inches can make a big diff. in a lot of situations! But in this case 3 inches less is super bad. I have a 49 fastback and I love this body style. I'm leaving mine stock height, but would do a chop if I could. I'm just trying to get it running and on the road for now. Looking for fender trim for passenger rear fender and drivers side front fender. Good luck on this bad boy!!-Sololobo

straight, clean, nothing overdone...and black looks good on this one. how about an updated shot of the side and that interior? you've got a very nice car here.

  27. Nice! Show us the interior please. Any plans for exterior paint?

    Johnny-

Your '50 looks great. What is the mill under the hood? Still the flathead six?

Curious if your spots are dummys or if they are functional, I have a couple of real ones that I'd like to put on my '50.

I'd like to see more pics of your interior too, that's the next step for my Plymouth.

    Nice work on the chop...

    Pete
