    Hey guys,

first off ill post some pictures later, im on a dial up connection that is literaly crawling slow and i havnt got time to wait for it right now. but i will post some later.

but more importantly after who knows how long ---old plates were last regesterd 11 years ago and i know for sure its been in the garage for at least 6 years, the flathead cackled to life!

ive got all the new equipment on, new brakes ,hoses ,wiring, 56 olds tail lights all finished. and today after realizing i could light it off i poured a bit of gas down the carb and turned the key and it started right up with absolutly no hesitation and no smoke and ran super smooth.....till it ran out of that tiny bit of gas anyways lol.

should have the new rubber on it monday night and the seat belts soon after so all im realy waiting for now is my gas tank to make its way over from council bluffs and figure out my head light bezel problem and ill be lincoln bound for a month of shake down driving in preperation for the Back to the Fifties trip :)

itll be my first time ever bringing a car, im preety excited.
hopefully ill get the tank soon and ill give the youtube thing a shot of it moving under its own power.

    :)

Love the patina - what are your long term plans for it?

we'll today i got the mexican blankets on the front seat and the wheels painted black. should have the new whites on it tomorow after noon and the seat belts shortly after. then onto shaking the bugs out and making it all tight. and pinstripe it

but thats all short term ;)

long term plans go about like this:

end of summer drop it hard onto the ground and shave the door handles
some were in winter im doing the whole interior in white t&r

longer term ive got some paint for it thats the stock bronze-ish metalic color and after having a hamb chop to lower the lid ill make it all nice and straight and spray the car shiney. some were in there find some nice caps for the front and probably start running the skirts post hamb chop.

lol theres a novel idea a hamb chop on a car some ones already driving :)

thats the jist of it right now
