Oh sure, now you tell me! Lol [emoji3]. Advice well received! The problem I always seem to run into is that I have so everything outside and thus everything I own constantly gets covered in dust. Not to mention I have a fear of taking things apart which is based upon my other special talent..... my ability to take stuff apart and never put it back together. [emoji3]

Not much happening with the 55 due to other projects and because I’m waiting for my Pontiac rear end. But I did end up getting a timing cover from Alkydigger on eBay. The price was good but I didn’t realize there was some damage. Like I said the price was right but I have to figure out what I am going to do with the boggered up part. [IMG][IMG]

So I talked with Mike (Alkydigger) whom I bought it from. Told him I didn’t notice that it was damaged and what do I need to do to make it functional. He said remove the bearing and run an Enderle cam spud so I ordered one along with the shims. I’m ***uming I’ll need to maybe run the enderle pump?? Anyways Mike was very very helpful. I told him this is all new to me and I don’t know anything yet and he was cool! Very impressed!

Ps, the hilborn cover is no more but Alkydigger sells new Enderle covers ready to go for a little more than $200. If I’d know I would have probably done that but in the end I didn’t spend much more.

Are you looking for a Pontiac/Olds rear end or parts?
