Well for the last 2 days Ive been stripping off that gawd awful green paint. And to my surprise the body is very sound, not anything like I was expecting. The rear quarters still need to patched but only the very bottom 3" inches or so to make it right. As you can see I still have more to go, but need to figure out what to with all the parts after I pull them off. Im a little lacking in the storage department right now.
Looks like we're gonna add yet another one of these to the Vagabonds stable, picking this one up tomorrow.
Love those 60 Bel Air tu-doors, Monsterflake sold his to hot rod roadster and I lusted for it when he turned it loose. Leave all the front sheet metal on when replacing those rockers and constantly check door gaps and fit while replacing them. Cool to see ya building a ride for your gal. Good Luck. ~Sololobo~

You're better off than my next project, I think... I intend to learn to weld and do bodywork on this one...
