Hey, I donated a few dash parts, right? Oh, you meant $$$$$. Sorry Chad, I'm low on that stuff right now :)

  8. Nice. Very nice. Can't wait to see the finished product.

  9. An order of "cut and buff" with a side of "puttin it back together"!!

YUCK!!! I FEEL FOR YOU MAN!! nothing like a thousand square feet of wet sanded paint ,and sitting on a milk crate saying this is gonna suck!! lol a very tedious job.. looks fantastic!! and i can smell the compound...

  11. Love the color you chose. The work on your car is just beautiful.

  12. Chopweld, I cant wait to get the dash parts all together in one piece, Thanks again!!!! I think with the holidays coming on we all are a little tight on project funds but still open to offers!?!?!?!?:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Now comes the FUN part!!! Putting it back together and not scratching or chipping it.

It looks so good and I cant make a decision on using side moulding or not. I have some change invested in the trim Im using and not sure if Im going to stick it to the side of this thing right now!?!?!?!?

I'd say, try it without trim first. You can always drill holes in it later, but it's harder to un-drill them with that fresh paint. Anyway, NICE JOB, man. It always pays if you stick with it.

  14. Painstakingly putting it back together!!!! Now to tidy up a few loose ends before I move on to the interior. Heres a little taste from where this project started.......

Looks Great Chad. Inspires me to work harder on my Merc projects. I like the gas door, subtle change, but effective.
