project getlow gets floors

    Been along time coming but I'm working hard to get these done. Still need a little more work. Waiting for the drive shaft shop to finish hopefully they will call tomorrow. If they do I should be able to finish by the weekend. I got all the hard stuff done. I got a slip roll to make the rest of the tunnel.

    Looks good. That airline does not look like the DOT type, if not please don't drive with it.

    i am ready to do the floors on mine...shined a light underneath it and was amazed when the inside of the car started glowing through the PO fiberglass repairs.

    what is make/model is get low?

    white air lines are for moving it around the shop I have good DOT lines for when I redo them when I'M ready for final assembly


    Car is a 57 Buick special do a search for project getlow there is more pix of it

    Got the drive shaft today. Put it in and when I went to lower the car down onto the frame. The drive shaft hits the center X member. So Im going to box the sides and cut the top off and weld in a new top. I picked up a 6in pipe at work so Im just doing to cut it in half and that will be my new x member should have it done tonite. Ill post some pix when its done. But heres some to show what Im talking about.
