    Justin -

    Outstanding fabrication skills!

This will be a stupid question to some reading this, but how do you title/register this with the state as there are no serial numbers or VINs? Having delt with the Ohio DMV on a home built trailer was a total pain. Do you use the VIN from the cab?

    Keep up the great work.

  8. Ok update time sorry its taken so long...

So i got the roof section cut out and replaced as well as the cab corner and cab seem all welded. Drip rails made from round bar on and got the door jams and inside of the front a pillers all welded and smoothed.

    Heres the pictures of that...

Amazing job, the chop is looking good and I really like what you did with the rear window. I don't know about the one piece hood, the butterfly hood is what makes these trucks different, trying to turn it into a Ford or Chevy?

  14. Thanks guys, and no im not turning into a chevy or a ford. Im turning it into a mild custom and building so it will stand out from the other dodge pickups.

Ill try to post more pictures of the hood mod later this weekend.

    Thanks

  23. Havent updated this in a while, Ive made some progress. Got some 54' ford headlight rings and now thinking of using a 51' ford rear bumper as a front bumper. Does needs some cutting to fit right. Also thinking of doing a 54 dodge grill shape/ opening and a floating grill of some sort (need help figuring that out)

Anyways heres a teaser of the frontend

Let me know what you all think?

  24. I'm liking it, I have a front bumper off a 51-52 dodge that fits really well in the front of my 53. Did you finish off the hood yet? I want to see how you did that.

  26. Thanks hope to get cutting on the bumper this weekend!

Thanks, havent finished welding it together yet.

  27. The hood is way cool, I have something like that planned for my truck. I love the grill on your truck and I would kill for one like it but I think your idea would look great. A 54 already has a floating grill in it anyway doesnt it? I can't wait to see more!

  28. Yea the 54 has a floating grill, Thanks

  29. Shortened a 51' ford dash by 5 1/2" its not done yet still have to sheet metal the area under the lip. Cut the old dsah out and pushed it outside to get a couple pictures.
