Welcome back, Tony Angelo left motortrend and went on his own, drive over there and see if they need a new host.
An update I did recently that I should've done years ago. After going through two sets of Chinese latches, I decided to rethink how I was doing my truck and do it right. After purchasing a set of Altman latches and checking out the directions, I decided do a little research and see if there was an easier way. I was fortunate enough to stumble on a great how-to done by my friend Russ Petty! Here's a link to how he did his install https://talk.classicparts.com/threads/how-to-install-trique-latch-kit.12010/ and it worked perfectly. After everything was fitted, I sandblasted the plates and painted them brown. No more slamming doors and a great investment worth every penny!
Good morning! Made a little 2500 mile drive in the truck a couple weeks ago. Filming a new project and more episodes of Stories N' Steel! Here was my first gas stop in Las Vegas on my way to Twin Falls, Idaho. Truck ran great and averaged 16-18mpg with the AC cranked up! I still have fun driving this beast!
If you haven't seen any of what I'm out filming, check it out on YouTube. I have a bunch more great episodes almost done but this will give you an idea. Be sure to subscribe so you can watch updates. Stay tuned...
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile! Was honored to be invited and have "the Brown Truck" in building 9 at the Grand National Roadster Show this year!!
Yeah I know, made a few changes since I last posted. I need to get some new interior shots to see how the seat and door panels came out. I'm still driving it!
Not sure if anyone on here has seen a show I've been working on called Stories N' Steel and if you haven't, you might want to check it out. I haven't put out any episodes in awhile because of things going on in my life, but I'm back at it and will have new episodes out shortly! In a passing comment, I was told I should put a video together about the truck build. I'm taking notes and working on a game plan on how to take build pics and videos along with doing a voiceover of the entire build. Could be interesting...
