    You are doing the right thing. Find a '36 in good shape and modify it to your liking. I did this with my '36.
    The first pic is what it looked like when I bought it. The guy on the right is the person I bought it from and the guy on the left is the person who bought it from the original owner. That makes me the 4th owner.
    The second picture is how I modified it to my liking. Yes, I ditched the flathead.
