    Greetings all
Here are some pics of my new project 1936 chevy pickup dubbed "Prairie Fire". this is my first hot rod project so if i say something stupid tell me i don't care. but, anyways its been previously channeled but not finished channeled they just cut out most of the floor and cut grooves for the frame
i drove to minnesota to get it this weekend so about 19 hrs driving that was great. i want a straight axle in the front. a parallel rear that's z'ed. im planning on choping the top and reducing the channel by a couple of inches.
currently im planning on power coming from a 331 cadillac motor with a tri-power intake. thats about all ive planned so far. im gonna start boxing the frame after i get it nice and clean this weekend. let me know what you think.

IS IT POSSIBLE TOO BITE OFF TOO MUCH TO CHEW?

so i sold my 2003 cbr600rr with about $2500 worth of upgrades at an extreme loss to talk my wife into this truck.
so that counts for something right?

hahaha...yeah, it counts for you no longer being a sissy on a crotch rocket...congrats on the tin, and if you spy any more tin like that in my state let me know, I'm always looking for more sheetmetal to put in the backyard to piss the neighbors off with...

    UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

so guess what i got distracted and have put the truck into storage to start work on a ha/gr car.

so i guess it's Project: Prairie Fire the Dragster

front axle is from a 54 chevy truck (thanks to dkmoody)and drive train is from a 53 biscayne (thanks to my partner is crime/co-driver 53sled).
so enjoy the pics ive got a little wiring to finish up on the house this week and then i start in on the frame.

you guys got any frame pics for hamb dragsters that arent of the parallel spring persuasion? i didn't see that in the rules as a req. but nobody seems to do it. just post any pics i need some motorvation to get me going
