    When they went to the tube shocks, did they do all 4 corners or just the front? Mine has them on the front and lever shocks in the back.
     
  3. Rear was optional as I understand it when tube came out.
    I would bet someone changed the front on yours

    My grandfather had a '49 Chevy many years ago, for many years. My uncle and I got to talking about it one day, and he told me every part on it had been replaced at one point or another, except the cab and dash, and the steering wheel. I haven't thought about that for years, thanks for the memories.
