Project Update

Update on the Gypsy Project. Been sanding, painting, wet sanding, Rounding corners, and more painting. So take in all the pics and let me know what you think.

Since last post, I took the advice of a few fellow HAMBERS and rounded out those door corners.

















Then a slight case of wet sanding and some more paint.







Even my girl got in on the action









That's it for now. Today I'll be going all out to erase the scratches left by the 80 grit.

what happened to the beltline?

 

Great work. The doors came out slick. Your helper looks like she does work too.

 

I shortened the beltline and reduced it to the back. You'll see why int he future. I'm wrapping trim around the sides to overlap it. Since the stock car part of the build didn't have a belt line I compromised.

My helper helps more than I do. hahahhahaha She's one hell of a welder and a painter.

 

The rounded door corners made a huge difference! Good job, that looks so much better.

 

Yeah the Rounded corners are much nicer and do flow more with the body. Can't wait to get it together with paint. Thanks for the comments.
