Technical Projects Transmission mounts

Anyone know if these are the same core, and would you need to change trans mounts to replace one or the other, 4l60E to 700r4 vs visa

 

The 4L60E is the electronically controlled version of the 700R4. They should fit in the same place physically, but they are not the same "core" if you are talking about buying a rebuilt unit.

The 4L60E requires a computer to control the shifting. The 700R4 does not.
