Better check that,Joe... I think the Swedes are tea drinkers Norrland, you and your square headed buds are low buck RULERS. This build has been a TON of fun to watch...I don't think I can wait two weeks for an update
haha...thanks for the info...don't want to be guilty of an international faux-pas We'll be sure to brew up some tea
Think my Coffee would make your Coffee tast like Tea.... Happy u enjoy our little Toy. Will try and make a move tomorrow or Friday on the Ride but cant promise anything right now. Kimmen is leaving on Vaccation to Egypt with his Family on Friday.
Correction my dear (Hasse) "norrland", i´m leaving on saturday, one more day to have fun in the garage, Will fix some motormounts today, for sure,
with the rear end solid mounted no problem with short driveshaft just mount everything in straight line maybe wit a little setback on engine
Today we fabricated Engine and transmission mounts. So now we can mount the real engine and let it makeout with the trans. Almost no engine in the enginebay Here u see how long we have to move the front end forward before flipping it Lightbezels ducktaped
You guys are making me feel like I'm slacking off out in the garage and talk about a back seat driver...lol Kinda funny how you can peer through the wheelwells and see daylight on the other side too, that thing is just to cool.
you could trim the bottoms of the rear corneres of the front fenders and allow it to flip that way, just the bottom rear corners of the fenders would stay attached to the main body. that allows you to flip it without sliding it ahead...
We will see what happens. Kind of easy to have it like that cause then we could mount some tiltfront locks like on Triumph Herald or some kind of Hoodpins? Its neat to be able to pull the front forward and its kind of easy to remove aswell!!
Look at the hood hinge mechanism on an e30 3 series BMW (1984-1991.) It has a linkage where the hood pulls forward a couple inches, then lifts up. Older 5 series BMWs (1981 and earlier) had a similar setup.
great project,I,m not so sure about inspiring,it just proves how damn slow I.m going, here,s one from the UK
I love how your laying down battleship welds with an arc welder! I cant wait to see this done, great job guys.
aint that the truth last time i was in Stockholm my uncle was making coffee i dont think the devils heart is as black as that coffee was
great build, updates are getting better and better. keep up the great work. looking forward to your updates
Being of Scandanavian descent we joke about the piss weak coffee folks out here on the plains drink. Our theory is as Olaf travelled to the Dakotas, the ration of coffee got so low that eventually they were drinking tinted water. Being a frugal Scandahoovian he decided that is the most sensible way to make coffee and stretch his dollar!
