Sorry about the double post, but couldn't edit the other one for some reason. Check it out. Jim http://s146.photobucket.com/albums/r262/bockbrian/?action=view¤t=mark.flv
Those Super Stock Cars use Jerico transmissions... which you can shift up into the next gear without the clutch and with your foot flat on the floor. Not much technique... just grab the shifter and yank it to the next gear! http://www.jericoperformance.com/11.html $4000 was a bit out of my price range Sam.
That was Bob Willsher's 2% 65 Dodge that we had brought in for everyone at the Mopar show to see.....believe it or not..I treed him..but the ole Ford was limpin' down there with a bad coil....it's ok now...will be in Tulsa for the Nirto Nats.....bring it on.... Mark
by the way..........that Jerico is NOT a clutchless..........a slight tap of the clutch between each shift........have found that the clutchless trans are WAY too expensive to keep repairing......... ..that 2% Dodge runs deep into the 9s..........more like 9.00 in legal trim...........we had the Ford on a 10.00 that weekend, but were suffering from a broken distributer and a bad coil........anyone wanna race?...........be in Tulsa.
