Proportioning valve question.

Heres what i have, please bear with me.
master cylinder-1/4line-3/16line-proportioning valve-3/16line-1/4line and into the wheel cylinder. My question is, can i go from a 1/4in line to 3/16in line then back to a 1/4, does this hurt anything or cause any problems.

 

The only thing it hurts is your head thinking about it !! LOL Not to worry.
