rear biased tires those look too street rodderish you asked
Bottom line if you like it that is your call alone
I get guys at the shows say "oh I would blah blah " when I stand away from my ride and eavesdrop
Im figuring the same guy drove his wife's Prius cause his build is in the same spot it has been for the last 30 years with all the billet crap he got a deal on !!

Don’t worry about stance....for the era you’re building the car for they didn’t have one....

I cant help with if its era correct or not but I'll tell you what, that roadster sits mean. Definately has a purposeful look. Good job

Overall it looks good but I have 3 suggestions.
    1. Not sure if its just the angle of the picture view, but in pic 2 the rear wheels look "almost" centered to the wheel well while in pics 3/4 they look more rearward. I would put them where they are centered.

    2. The stance is right front to back, but I think a couple inches lower would look better.

    3. Its hard to tell how the top will look because it isn't pulled tight, but if you look at the door window area, the top appears to be running up hill. Someone mentioned cutting the windshield some more. I think the overall look would be better if the top were running just slightly downhill....or at least level to the door edge.

Gonna be a nice ride !;) (Make it sit like the truck in your avatar.)

Looks like a mean machine, just put an angle on the rear of the top, cool rear pan with exhaust protruding....

I think your car looks great! I would just add some more angle to the top. roadster.jpg

  11. You couldn't get the car to sit any better, it's perfect. HRP

I am running 7.50x16 on rear and 5.50x16 on front. They provide a nice rake. IMG_0302.JPG

    Nice car..
I also think a rake, or smaller tires in front..
After experimenting with several front wheels I wound up with these on a car I built a few years back..

  18. I wasn’t alive in that decade, but would be thrilled if this was my ride. If those tires are bought and paid for, end of discussion, I like those white lettered firestones. Bones are good, button it up and drive.

  19. I think you did a great job and the front tires size looks great, has a mean look to it.
I would drive it even the way it looks now.
