looking to buy frame for full fender 28-29 coupe looking for some good inputs? sbc 4-sp dana 60 rearend straight axle
I started out with a perimiter frame from JW Rod Garage in Wisconsin. I then built all my own crossmembers and susp. mounts. I think its much easier to build it as you go than to try to order a complete chassis. I've got pic's in my album in my profile. The basic perimiter frame is on the second page and the finished chassis is on the first, because I don't know how to organize the pic's. I paid $ 600.00 for the frame 2 years ago. They now sell it with a 2" kick and coilover mounts, but I'm not sure of the price, nice stuff though. I've got a Pete & Jakes Super Bell 4" dropped axel with 4 bar, cross steer, and triangulated 4 bar rear w/ coilovers. I've got about $ 4,000.00 in the roller including tires and wheels. $ 2,000.00 of that was for the front end from Posies. And a few hours of my not so valueable time.
