My name is Lee and my project is a 1984 Chevy S10 Ext Cab that I inherited ~20 years ago. At the time I really had no money to rebuild it, but now that the kids are grown, I have the money and time to get my hands dirty and plan to either do the work myself or get my friend to help me as his skills in hot rodding are more advanced than mine. My dad taught me a lot while he was alive and I am sure he would be getting his hands dirty now as well if he were still with us.

I have procured a Chevy 305 out of a 82 Caprice and have a TH350 to bolt behind it. I have got a nice billet distributor, camshaft and gear drive to put in it. I have also gotten a set of door hinges from a Jeep Grand Wagoneer to do suicide doors on it. Other plans include building a new frame from the firewall back to get the body close to the ground, narrow the rear frame and install a Ford 9 inch, hand made tubular a-arms in front with air bags on all 4 corners. The interior will be hand created and, being a car audio installer, the sounds will be on point.

Proud to be here and look forward to gaining some knowledge.
