Heres a 28-29 rpu model body that I weathered alittle today. I didnt mention that I build models in my intro...so here are a few pics....I hope this isnt too o/t...if so Im sure someone will let me know.
Cool models you got there Tcoupe. It has been awhile since I built a model but I still like to do it. There are several others here on the HAMB that are into models.
Tcoupe try using a piece or two of white printer paper as a background. It works ok for a quick picture. Keeps the shot from being cluttered up. It also gives a good contrast. Sorry for the crappy shots but my cheap wal mart camera doesn't do to good since it got wet.

[/ QUOTE ] If you go to your local Salvation Army Store,you can probably find an old screen used for projecting home movies.(the roll up kind,whatever they are called).You don't need the complicated folding stand,just the roll up screen. Hang it on the wall above where you want to take pictures.Pull the screen down all the way so it goes down the wall and across the table.Instant seamless background,no hard edges or bad reflections,and it only cost $5. If you want to get fancy,you can paint some fancy patterns on the screen like the BIG BUCK profession backgrounds.Wet the screen with some solvent,splash a little paint on it and spread it around a little.
Hey Tcoupe. Nice stuff. There's a few HAMBers that build models, myself included. I've got some pics of my stuff HERE. I also put a post up the other day about a really good modelling forum that is hardly used. I think it would be great to utilise it. It's at www.mas-parts.com. I find it amazing the effects that some people can get with weathering plastic. I'm more of a nice shiny finished kinda guy. Most weather I do is sand the tread on the tyres... sometimes.
Thanks for the comments and suggestions guys...I didnt even consider the back ground in those shots....I was just trying to get it to eye level (top of fridge).
