Charlie, just wanted to thank you again publicly for going out of your way on your trip home to san Diego to stop and pick up my frame. Also, thank you for getting it to my frame guy before he left the shop for the day. You were definently a life saver!!!! Best Wishes! Jason "Big Dirty"
charlie's a stand-up guy, those of us who have met him already knew, those of you who haven't should have no doubts-george
With all the people that go out of their way to Shit on ya these days, it's nice to see the're still some good samaritans out there, that desreve a pat on the back.
Thanks guys for the kind words, I am always happy to help out when I can. I did make it back to El Cajon with my latest project, 1935 Chevy Master DeLuxe 2-dr coupe. The Merc is sitting under the cover behind me in the photo. Anyone who may have parts or tech data on this vintage Chevy could be my new best friend... I have found a source for service manuals and have bought both the chassis and body manuals. I guess that I can't get to involved in this project until I finish the Merc, but collecting data and sources for sheetmetal can go on while the Merc comes together....
I want to thank Chuck for dragging an A chassis up north for me and delivering it to the shop of JimA's choice (Tardel's place to be exact). He claims that it was on his way, but it was still really nice of him to do it so that I could spend my weekend lounging around with my family in San Diego. Court
