Give it the axe, it just "muddies up" yer profile.....if a guy wants to talk with a certain fella, the PM feature works fine...my .02....

 

Delete....begone...waste of time...thats what PM's are for!

yeah, its like the PM for lazy people but everyone can see it.

 

It's sort of pointless since I would just rather use the PM feature instead. It just seems like the profile messages are more like a Squawk Box where "shout outs" occur. And deleting you messages sort of is a pain in the ***. I like all the other new features though!

It would be OK with me, too. The old PM message feature worked well.

The new system gives me a notification, and then somehow I can't get the notification icon off the welcome heading???

And I don't really know if a message sent really got sent? does that make sense?

No...Please get rid of it.

I've been getting Profile Messages that look like they were meant to be P/Ms
And sending a P/M seems like its not as easy as it used to be.
( or getting to the appropriate page, or something...)

 

Eliminating another source of confusion sounds like a good idea.

I have "header" messages on mine I can't delete for some reason, but then again, I ain't the smartest tool in the box.

Since you asked, I don't see any reason to post the messages for everyone to see, the PM's work great. The Hamb is #1 !! (I guess that's enough *** kissing)

I like really like that you throw this stuff off of everybody for thoughts - not beina ******* here - but this is by far the best forum im on - that Public User function does seem a little too 'myspacey' though
