Technical Pull head on SBC without removing intake manifold?

    A Simple Question Turned Into Engineering Magic And There Is A Chance The Intake On A SBC Will Leak If You Remove It Or Not.....Proceed...

    Pics of your combustion chambers and piston tops, then we can see if any of them are cleaner than the rest.
    FWIW, Any bad head gasket I’ve had has been easy to spot.

    That was the first thing that popped into my head when it was suggested 100 posts ago, but I chose to refrain from making a comment because this has turned into a circus. All cylinders on one side at 150, and the other side all at 120?

    Different heads or pistons side to side is my guess. It's a 1959 block, so anything is possible.

    One thing that is sadly evident here is folks passing judgement on something that not only have most likely never tried , but probably never thought to try , very closed minded . This would be out of character for the old time hotrodders you claim to emulate , but not at all unexpected from folks who. don't want any improvements to their cars that have been developed in the last 56 years . ( except engines , transmissions , brakes , tires , ignition systems & on & on ) Its really very entertaining .....:rolleyes:
