Absolutely correct! I had a friend who had a six pack one evening, then hit the sack. Next day on the way to work he got stopped, and flunked the test. Over the limit on blood alcohol level and got a ticket and a ride. He couldn't believe he was still leaglly drunk after a good night's rest.
well no alcohol involved but i was um speeding a little on my 05 sporty. and then i see flashing lights. i pull over. i curse myself cause i dont have my insurance or reg with me. i look back and the officer and it is a kid that i went to high school with. we bs a little he tells me to keep it lower. which is good becuase if that sob had given me a ticket i would have had a real hard time respecting a cop that stole a radiator. granted it was before he was a cop but still. its the principal of the thing
Speak of the devil. Thunderbirdesq and I went to Pa to grab some more goodies from a couple favorite (secret) places.I had my little trailer piled with a front and rear 46 Merc axles,two old 50s dodge hand lettered doors and a turtle deck.All straped up nicely.We had gone out for a quick dinner(9pm) and then head back ,we were whipped.We both had a hugh burger and two drafts.Got about a mile back and the blue lights went on.Holy crap Iam dead meat.Trooper said he pulled us over cause only brakelights worked on trailer.Checked out my paperwork and offered to assist in fixing problem.Lose flat four connection.Gave us some helpful hints and we were on our way.Guy was doing his job and we were not.Lucky dogs all day!!!!
Ok,.....I gotta add this,.......one night last week I had two double Jack-n-Cokes as I do every night, finishing the last one just before I crawled into bed. Took the random drug alcohol test at 8 am and blew a 0.00,.....but that's me...I am a professional! And no, I do NOT drink and drive. On topic, I have a friend who's a city cop,.....he said if you're driving a hot rod and your twenty-something,....you're gonna be watched and maybe stopped,....if you're 58, white-headed and driving a hot rod, he nor most of the other officers could care less what you were doing,.....but they might want to check the car out.
